In-Theater Assemblies

Production in Action

Oakland Ballet Company invites East Bay teachers and students to take part in our special, educational student programs. During Production in Action performances, students are treated not only to full-length versions of upcoming OBC performances, but also witness the behind-the-scene elements of a professional dance performance, such as scene changes.

To help incorporate this experience into your classroom curriculum, educational guides and lesson plans are provided to accompany each performance – all of which align with CA performing and visual arts standards.

Production in Action performances are offered exclusively for student audiences (including teachers and parent chaperones), and are not open to the general public. This program is sponsored by Clorox, The Matson Foundation, and US Bank.

Students in theater ready to watch the show.
