A Word from Oakland Ballet Company Staff

It is with much regret that Oakland Ballet Company will be temporarily suspending its year-round Academy classes effective June 1st, 2022. This is primarily due to space-related issues, finding suitable studio space in Oakland has proven very challenging.  It is our hope and intent to resume in the future, coming back stronger with even more training options.

We will still be continuing many facets of the Education portion of our mission including in-school classes and assemblies, in-theatre assemblies, Summer Intensive training, and student roles in the Nutcracker. Continuing to expose students to a well-rounded education that includes the arts is of utmost importance to us and we are thankful to be able to provide many different avenues of artistic exposure to our youngest community members.
